Arizona Bike Week General Information
Arizona Bike Week will be held March 28 - April 1, 2012 in Scottsdale, in conjunction with Cyclefest at Westworld. This event is known as the rally "for bikers by bikers." This is the 16th anniversary of the non-stop Wild West desert party.
Bikers enjoy shopping from local and national brand-name vendors. Festivities abound with biker destination rides, poker runs, bike displays and competitions, factory demo rides, the Miss Arizona Bike Week Pageant and much more.
Arizona Bike Week has a tradition of delivering the hottest bands from past and present and 2012 will be no exception. Whether your iTunes lineup has grunge, heavy metal, classic rock or hard rock or an eclectic mix of everything you will not leave disappointed. Arizona Bike Week will also feature a variety of local bands.
"Come on Feel the Noize" with Quiet Riot and you'll be feeling the nostalgia of big bangs, long hair and skin-tight pants - everything Glam Rock was meant to be. It will taste so good you'll want to "Bang Your Head" on Wed., March 28, the opening night of Cyclefest at WestWorld.
On Thursday, March 29 get dirty with Puddle of Mudd, presented by Paul Yaffe's Bagger Nation, that is if they haven't already "Shook Up the World" or gone "Psycho." Fans will love to hear hits off their major label debut Come Clean, which has sold over five million copies and the six other albums in their discography.
Buddy Stubbs Arizona Harley-Davidson, on Fri., March 30, presents REO Speedwagon, who will belt out "I Can't Fight This Feeling" and it will make you remember young love - you won't be able to stop yourself, and why would you want to? They'll "Keep on Loving You" and remind you that "Love is a Rock," and you'll feel like you've tuned back into America's Top 40 on Sunday afternoon with your cassette player on record, and it will be so sweet. You don't want to miss it, cause you almost forgot what a rock ballad was supposed to sound like.
Tesla has been rocking the stadiums for 25 years and they don't intend to stop now, they are still the "Monsters of Rock." During a time of pop-rock they were hard rock to the core. They will rock your world with the '80s classic power ballad "Love Song" and their '90s acoustical hits like "Gettin' Better" and "Modern Day Cowboy."
